The older I get, the more I like to communicate in the language of images and music. So please enjoy the video, a first from Thin Place, a wee little brand that I trust you'll see a lot more of in the days ahead.
The Lord is fire (Hebrews 12:29). His word is fire (Jeremiah 23:29). Jesus came to cast fire on the earth (Luke 12:49). His goal is to baptize all with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:11), an objective that took a major leap forward on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:3).
The Lord's fire cleanses and purges that which has been ruined by evil in order to 1) to separate evil from what it has ruined so that the evil can be destroyed and 2) to restore what evil has ruined. The Lord does both with fire.
Bring on the fire!
