Basileia's vision of establishing kingdomcultural communities that function as "colonies of heaven" requires us to get concrete and practical about life in the here and now, which includes how we handle money and wealth.
The Scripture says that we're 1) given power, 2) to create wealth, 3) in order to confirm the covenant (Deut. 8:18). Ultimately, our call to be "fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion...on the earth" (Gen. 1:28) is about confirming the covenant. There's more to creating wealth than just making money to spend and invest. The larger goal is to create, manage and grow wealth in a way that confirms the covenant, thereby transforming human relationships in every area of thought and life (family, church, state, education, business, entertainment, etc.) to create communities that are colonies of heaven where "the dwelling of God is with man" (Rev. 21:3).
The Private Reserve System is a covenantal way of creating, preserving and growing wealth generated by individuals, families and businesses.
