John was ordained a Presbyter of the Church on December 2, 2006 by Bishop William Paul Mikler. He serves as a Presbyter of the Abbey of St. John in Colorado Springs, Colorado. John owns and manages residential and business property in Fountain, Colorado. He is also a published author. His first book is The Path of Wisdom. John and Boyd are presently collaborating on a book project, provisionally entitled, Becoming A Superhero, a creative book about the process and goal of discipleship. Before his ordination with Basileia, John served the Church in the Baptist tradition. He is now in the process of forming a Basileian initiative that embodies the charism of St. Brendan, the Celtic saint of travelers and the spiritual journey.
John is the founding Presbyter of The Fellowship of St. Brendan in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
